Privacy Policy

This Policy explains what data the independent developer of Cogni — Daily Brain Training (an individual; a personal project, not a registered company) (“we”) processes when you use the Cogni Telegram bot and Mini App (the “Service”), and why.

Data we process

• Telegram account data: ID, username, first and last name (if provided), language code, Telegram Premium flag;
• your program progress and exercise/checkup results (math, memory, attention);
• settings: interface language, reminder time, time zone (auto-detected);
• usage events (opens, completions, taps) and referral source (tag from the invite link);
• support messages.

We do NOT request payment data (payments are not enabled in the Service yet) and do not collect location beyond your time zone.

Why we process it

To provide the Service (run the program, show progress, send reminders), respond to your support requests, and analyze and improve the product in aggregated/de-identified form.

Legal basis

Processing is based on your consent (use of the Service) and to the extent necessary to provide the service.

Analytics and third parties

For product analytics we collect de-identified behavioral events and properties (program day, language, source, cohort, etc.), but NOT your name/username.

Telegram itself processes data under its own policy. By using the Service inside Telegram you also accept Telegram’s terms.

We do not sell your data or share it with third parties for advertising.

Storage and security

Data is stored on a secured server with restricted access, for as long as needed to run the Service; on account deletion or request we delete or de-identify it.

Your rights

• reset your progress in the Service settings;
• turn off reminders in settings;
• request access to or deletion of your data — contact us (below);
• withdraw consent by ceasing to use the Service.

Children

The Service is not intended for children under the age required by Telegram’s rules and applicable law. We do not knowingly collect children’s data.

Changes

We may update this Policy. The current version is always on this page; the update date is shown at the top.
